LIVE on YouTube: Investing 101- How to Get Started

The U.S. stock market has proven to be one of the best ways for the average person to build long-term, lasting wealth. Over the last 10 years alone, the S&P 500 is up over 250% on a total return basis.

In the modern era, the U.S. stock market has thoroughly beat the returns earned in the housing market and it has CRUSHED simply holding cash.

Unfortunately, a recent Gallup poll indicates barely over half of Americans have any money invested in stocks.

At the Motley Fool, our goal is to make the world smarter, happier, and richer, and we can't think of a better way to do that than to help would-be investors get started.

So Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ET, our team is going to be live on YouTube with a special broadcast breaking down how to get started investing and a couple of great places for we see for new investors to put their cash.

To catch the conversation, make sure you're subscribed to our channel (it's free!).

After our team talks investing 101, they'll take questions live from the audience on YouTube! (As always, we cannot provide any personalized financial advice.)

REMINDER: If you want to ask a question, you need to be subscribed to The Motley Fool's YouTube channel.
