I got bamboozled!

but I'm glad I did…
Hello, Friend!

You're not going to believe this.

I'm with my daughter in New York City for the week.

(That's not the unbelievable part, I'll get to that.)

So far it's been amazing.

Yesterday we went on a pizza tour and I think I'm still sweating marinara sauce.

And we have a lot of awesome stuff planned for the rest of the week (I'll probably keep you updated if that's OK).

But here's what may shock you…

It shocked me…

New York is freaking open for business!

Like, packed.

It has a reputation for being such a liberal place…

I was expecting a lot of it to still be shut down…

And I thought there'd be a lot of people still wearing masks.

Nope!

MAYBE 20% of the people here are wearing masks.

And the city is 100% wide open.

I'm mentioning this for two reasons.

  1. this is great for America. NYC is the capital of the WORLD. And it feels… incredible and optimistic.

  1. I was totally WRONG about NYC… because I believed all the media crap I saw.

I should know better!

I usually rant about the FINANCIAL news media.

Because they only tell you what they want you to know.

And they tell you what they want…

To make you think like they want.

For some reason, the media is doing the same thing with New York's situation.

Right now, I'm not sure why.

But I'm going to try and figure it out.

Ok…

I have to go now.

My daughter wants to go to one of those museums where it looks like a toddler threw paint at a canvas.

I love the heck out of you,

Rob
