The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) is pointed 509 points lower, while futures on the S&P 500 Index (SPX) and Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) are suffering sizable drops of their own. Weighing heavily are concerns the recent spike in Covid-19 cases globally could put the breaks on the economic reopening, with stocks linked to travel taking a nosedive. Bond yields are seemingly in freefall, too. The 10-year Treasury yield fell to its lowest level in five months to 1.219%.
