Dow Looks to Snap 5-Quarter Win Streak By: Lillian Currens The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) is down 74 points this afternoon, weighed by drops in the energy and financial sectors, as it looks to close out the month and quarter with losses, snapping a five-quarter win streak in the process. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index (SPX) is flat at midday, while the Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) is sitting comfortably in the black, as tech takes advantage of a stable 10-year Treasury yield. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are eyeing monthly losses, yet still pacing for quarterly wins, which would mark both indexes' sixth-straight rise.
