Hey,
I love the United States. It’s my home. It’s given me everything I have today.

I’ve stuck with it through wars, impeachments, scandals, recessions and more. And through it all, through thick and thin - good times and bad, I would always stand up and stick up for my country. But now…

What the hell has American become? I don’t know what to think.

As a kid growing up in the Los Angeles suburbs, on warm, summer days I would leave the house on my Schwinn Stingray in the morning and explore the neighborhood streets with my friends sometimes until way after dark. And my mother seldom worried.

I remember being turned loose on my own at Disneyland, late nights at drive-in theatres, and those rare times when my brother and I were treated to McDonald’s fries or A&W root beers.

Nowadays, just this morning, in fact, the first of today’s police car sirens blared past the house at 4:30 am. Later, on my first walk dog walk of the day, on the sidewalks close to home my pups and I gingerly stepped around tossed needles, puddles of urine and vomit, and a pile of sleeping bags that held one or possibly two occupants. And I live in the “nice” part of town

I can also remember working proudly for a well-deserved paycheck and stretching every hard-earned dollars as far as I could.

Today, lazy whiners sit on their butts demanding handouts from the money you work hard for. Lawyers sue us for it, the government taxes it, and socialist politicians threaten to take it all away with promises of “equality for all.” In other words, their goal is to make all of us equally miserable and desperate.

The threats we face today could have a profound effect on your wealth, your family’s well-being, even your very survival.
