Hey Trader, I hope your weekend is off to a great start! Our resident FX pro Ross Mullins absolutely crushed it in the forex market this week. He sent over some highlights that I thought you might like to see… Check this out: “The week started with a bang! USD was into support at the bottom of the range (blue horizontal zone below), providing USD long trades totaling 446 pips: ● GBPUSD 181 pip Since Monday, the USD has been bouncing between highs and lows of a rising channel (the blue lines in the chart below), which has provided some short USD trades as well on the USDCAD and USDCHF midweek. The USDCAD pulled in another 110 pips… USDCHF another 30 pips… And rounding out the week, another long USD trade on the USDCAD for an additional 40 pips. This brings the total pips realized to 626 for the week… Which, at a standard single lot equals $6,260. So, what does next week hold? The USD seems to have normalized from a ridiculous month of March. There is a key resistance seen near 101.00. The rising trend for the past few days has been unable to breach this resistance so far… And without some significant effort from the buyers, the sellers may take back control for a break of the blue trend line. The double red lines at resistance and the blue trend line are the rock and the hard place. Breaking one or the other will be key for the next trend setups.” So, there you have it… Ross’ weekly forex roundup and a look at the week ahead.
