Good morning. I hope you all had a great long weekend and had an opportunity to visit family and become connected with loved ones that have passed on. The open on Tuesday looked so promising going into the cash open, but immediately started wilting and never regained its overnight footing.

It was a unique session in that tech behemoths were lower, and financials shined. As a result, it was a mixed picture on the S&P 500 as it finished 1.23% higher with the VIX also rising on the session.
