Earlier I mentioned I was going to share with you the results from today using the High Velocity Wave Trader day trading the E-Mini futures. I also want to offer a chance to join myself and Brian live in the markets this week (details below...)
Today was a perfect example of not needing a bit trend to hit targets. It was actually fairly choppy earlier in the session, yet we still hit targets in a short amount of time, and didn't even have one of our usual breakout/breakdown type move today.
Here's the Russell E-Mini Futures. This market is $5 per tick (0.10 points), or $50 per point:
Here's the S&P E-Mini Futures. This market is $12.50 per tick (0.25 points), or $50 per point:
Here's the DAX Futures. This market is 12.50EUR per tick (0.50 points), or $25 EUR per point:
We like to trade in multiples of two contracts, this way we can exit at our preset profit target, and then have the second half of our trade attempt to catch the big wave runners. Sometimes, those moves can be 10 points or much more. Well worth letting them run when the market breaks out (in either direction.)
