Hey guys, Dave here, and welcome to Path to Profits. There’s a lot of exciting stuff going on in geotech, strategic materials, finance, and the companies that drive those trends… You see, no one covers this space like we do. So every week, I’ll highlight the top hotspots gaining momentum in the media. It’s how we find our best money-making opportunities, just ripe for big gains. Check out this week’s top hotspots below to find out which trends are gaining traction… | This Week's Top Hotspots ➤ It's (almost) official… Tesla is in the mining business. Reuters quoted sources saying the electric vehicle giant will fund a Canadian nickel mine. Reports suggest Tesla could pay for mine construction in exchange for metal supply. The share price of project owner Giga Metals soared over 300% on the news. ➤ The U.S. steered away from Russian uranium. A new trade deal signed last week will reduce imports of Russian yellowcake. The move is aimed at supporting American domestic uranium mining. Russia has long been a key supplier to the U.S. nuclear industry. ➤ A top-five gold miner paid its first dividend in seven years. Shares of Kinross Gold, one of the world’s largest public gold companies, jumped 10% on the announcement Friday. Gold miners are flush with cash after bullion prices rose 35% the last six months. ➤ Oil companies said renewables are better investments than crude. Oil major BP unveiled a massive renewables plan, saying it can make better returns than in oil. Crude trading giant Vitol also announced a large expansion into electricity, to capitalize on green energy. ➤ China is launching a "space mining robot." NEO-1 will be carried into orbit in November. The bot won’t do any digging, but will test technologies to support mining. Space resource development is gaining pace globally, with NASA calling this month for bids from private firms to collect moon rocks. Keep walking the path, David Forest Editor, Path to Profits P.S.
