And I think we’ll be in that uptrend a while. I don’t think it’s likely to end until we’re well into that 4,500 to 7,000 range at the top. And getting there could take another year, it could even take us into 2023. But here’s the downside of all that growth: a massive correction is inevitable. I don’t mean to scare anyone (just keep reading!) but I truly believe we will have a “Great Depression” type correction that could last as long as a decade. They might even call it the “Greater Depression,” and it could take us all the way back down to the 1000s on the SPX. So is that a cause for panic? Absolutely not. Because smart traders simply need to be prepared for anything the market throws at them. If you know anything about Rob Booker, you know that he’s been a bear for a long time. As one of his coaching students, I’ve applied my own strategies in bear markets and honestly those have been some of the most successful Echo Trades I’ve placed. It’s all about being prepared. So you don’t need to fret about what the market will do in a year or two. No sense worrying about next year’s crop when you’ve still got this year’s in the ground ready to harvest. But when the time comes, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to come, we’ll be ready. Later this week, I’ll tell you a lot more about Echo Trades and how I plan to prepare for what’s to come. In the meantime, if you’re eager to learn more, you can check out Markay Latimer’s class on Bollinger Bands later this week. If any of you don’t know Markay, you should. She’s a top notch chart trader. And this is a totally free class with no obligation to attend. Just come and learn and take notes, and then if you want to go further with her you can. I think it’ll be great, especially since Bollinger Bands are so key to identifying upcoming trends. I really appreciate all of you for taking an interest in what I have to say. And I’m so excited to be starting this newsletter with you and keeping in touch with all of you more often. Whatever the market throws at us, we’ll be prepared. Hope you have a fantastic day, Jeffry Turnmire Knoxville, TN |
