Big numbers this week

Here's what you should expect from the market

Hey There,

There's a lot of financial news on the economic calendar this week, some big headlines you should be thinking about.

Jobless numbers come later in the week, but first we've got housing figures.

Existing Home Sales drop this morning at 10:00 AM, and New Home Sales come tomorrow.

I'll be watching home sales numbers really closely, because it feels like the housing market may finally be starting to slow down.

Rob's Special LIVE Session Tonight

Rob Booker just closed a nearly 500% gain on VRPX with his new Hotsheet strategy.

And now, he's got his eyes set on a potentially even bigger trade.

To share the word with folks, he's hosting a special LIVE briefing tonight at 7:00 PM ET.

It's a little anecdotal, but I have a friend who is in real estate who has been moving a lot lately.

About six months ago, they decided they needed a change from Seattle, my area, and sold their home.

Immediate offer, $100k above asking, no questions asked. And the couple they sold it to had already missed out on a home they liked by not offering above asking by enough!

So they moved to an area outside Boise, Idaho, which, I've learned, is one of the hottest housing markets in the entire country.

They've been there for six months, but recently learned that the city wants to build a giant retaining wall behind their home.

That caused them to want to sell… again!

They listed the home, and they've been waiting several weeks to sell it this time.

My friend the realtor says she can really feel the difference between now and then, she thinks the market is slowing down.

Of course, we'll know more when the numbers drop today and tomorrow.

But it wouldn't be a shock:

Housing has hardly missed a beat since the start of all this craziness.

A slowdown has to be coming sooner or later.

So if you've been waiting to sell until the peak, or waiting to buy until a slowdown, you might want to start paying attention.

Happy trading,

Markay
