Hey guys,

Well... we made it to September.

It's been an exhausting 2020 so far, but there are reasons to be happy.

After all, my favorite time of year is almost here...

Football season!

I can't wait for kickoff!

But before I get too excited, I thought I'd take the time to recap some of the latest innovations and trends we've seen this year in the sports betting market.

The Race Begins!

Many states that have yet to allow legal sports betting are seeing the revenue stack up elsewhere.

Such is the case for Georgia and Massachusetts, as they watch with eager eyes as Indiana's handle continues to rise.

The fact that the Hoosier State reported a $37.3 million handle in May alone, before American professional sports even resumed, is enough reason for GA and MA to hop on the betting bandwagon.

Check out how these states plan to move forward.

Fruits of the Garden State

Another state that is raking in revenue from legal sports betting is New Jersey.

This should come as no surprise, as we've touched on the Garden State's prowess for profits in sports betting before...

But New Jersey could even surpass Nevada as the biggest legal sports betting market in the country if the growth continues.

See just how well the garden is blooming right here.

PointsBet Partners with Pacers

The Pacers may have been swept by the Heat in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, but Indiana sports fans have plenty to be fired up about.

PointsBet and the NBA's Indiana Pacers have announced a multiyear partnership, so get ready to see the company's branding all over the Pacer's arena and digital platforms of the team.

This deal is similar to the one that BetMGM and the Denver Broncos recently agreed to, and there are plenty of benefits Indiana residents can look forward to.
